Enjoy time with your family as we explore the power of reading and the fun of summer in the outdoors at Woodard Park.
Join us on Saturday, July 13 from 10AM to 12PM at Woodard Park, located at 1011 Locke Ave.
This FREE educational event will feature school readiness activities, family fun, and delicious treats, including burgers and paletas. Visit with PBS Kids characters Peg + Cat, and learn about local FREE family programs. KLRN’s Education team will share activity ideas with adults to help prepare children for school success.
Paletas in the Park with KLRN is presented by KLRN Public Television. This event is co-sponsored by HOPES, United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County, and San Antonio Medical Foundation, along with numerous other organizations and individuals who have contributed time and in-kind donations in order to make this event happen.
