Families and Friends, thank you for your dedication as you continue to navigate learning and education during a difficult year. We hope that on your day off we can provide some ways for you to watch PBS KIDS programs with your child and extend their learning with a fun activity that ties in with some of today’s PBS KIDS programming.

Watch: Pinkalicious at 10:30 AM 9.1 | Pinkalicious & Peterrific: Missing Squeakykins/ The Could-o-matic

It's Pinkalicious' turn to take home the class pet, Squeakykins. But poor Squeakykins looks so bored! Pinkalicious and Peter build her a giant maze - so big that Squeakykins gets lost! With Mommy's new Cloud-o-Matic machine, Pinkalicious can make clouds that look just like her drawings. But too many clouds can be a problem, especially at the annual Sun Festival.

Activity: 

A change in seasons is a great time to get kids thinking about the weather. This hands-on lesson in meteorology can get kids thinking about taking measurements, collecting data, looking for patterns, and making predictions about the environment.

Leo feels very nervous about the wild animals wandering around Juneau,but realizes they need their own space and we must all learn to live together / In Juneau, Carmen wants to find a book to share with her mom, but in the process, learns to appreciate the tradition of native Alaskan spoken-word storytelling.

 Activity: 

Use these storytelling-themed activity sheets to allow children to choose their own learning adventures.

The Wild Kratts and Wild Kratts kids go on an underwater adventure to discover how pond animals survive in the winter.

Activity: 

Ponds are filled with animal and plant life that have special qualities to help them spend all or most of their lives underwater. Bring this homemade pond viewer on your next pond, stream, or lake exploration!

 

 

Create and nurture an aquatic environment in this digital game.
