This week On The Record, host Randy Beamer talks with District 1 Councilman Mario Bravo about the new council district lines, and we get an update on renovations planned for Brackenridge Park.

Next, Dawn Davies with the Night Sky Program of the Hill Country Alliance talks about the importance of keeping skies dark in the Texas Hill Country, and how residents even in cities and suburbs can help.  Night light pollution is impacting everything from animal welfare to plants to human sleeping patterns.

Then, it’s time for the city to start working on the next fiscal year budget, and Laura Mayes, Assistant Director of Communications and Engagement with the city joins Randy to explain how citizens can get their voice heard now about how they want city funds spent next fiscal year.

Finally, on Reporters Roundtable, Sanford Nowlin, Editor in Chief of the SA Current, talks about the new Tech Port Center and Arena, and give his ideas of why it’s already a smashing success.
