Monday is the start of early voting for the general election.

Texas Secretary of State Carlos Cascos told KSAT 12 News that even if voters don’t like the names at the top of the ballot, they should still vote.

He says it’s important for people to understand that the decisions that impact them come from elected officials who live and work in their cities and counties.

Meanwhile, 43 early voting locations will be prepped this weekend and ready on Monday for voters to cast their ballots.

Early voting runs until Friday, Nov. 4.

If you are voting by mail, you need to do so by a week from today.
