Texas Wildlife: Our Future

Produced by award-winning director Ben Masters of Fin & Fur Films, this 60-minute Texas PBS film brings attention to important work being done across the state to protect delicate wildlife habitats and threatened animal species, as well as showcases the wonder and splendor of the Texas outdoors.

A combination of short films shows what makes Texas unique, from diverse landscapes and remarkable wildlife that cannot be found anywhere else in the world, and tells compelling stories about Texans working to preserve habitats for bats, black bears, ocelots and redfish. Told through the eyes of wildlife experts, the story follows our ever-changing relationship with the natural world, including our ability to destroy, conserve and recover wildlife and the habitat we mutually depend on.
