This week On The Record, host Randy Beamer hears from District 10 City Councilman Marc Whyte on why he disagrees with the city’s lawsuit against the state over the so-called “Death Star Bill”, which limits a city’s ability to issue some ordinances and regulations for local businesses. Whyte says the lawsuit is needless, overreach, and is a waste of taxpayer money.
Then, we hear about the new season for the SA Philharmonic with Executive Director Roberto Trevino. The phil is offering tickets specials and other incentives to get San Antonians into their concert seats!
Finally, SAWS may change the way they deal with water restriction violators- going from fines to higher fees for excessive water use. We hear details of the plan from SA Report Utilites/Environmental reporter Lindsey Carnett.
