Watt Watchers education program

KLRN Public Television is proud to be a part of the Watt Watchers educational program through a partnership with CPS Energy and Disco Learning Media. By providing workshops, activities, and classroom resources to teachers, children are able to learn about smart energy and conservation.

The Watt Watchers Program is a comprehensive program with TEKS-aligned lessons for children in Kindergarten through 12th grade. Topics covered in the Watt Watchers program include energy conservation, reducing food waste, and responsible water usage.

The entire program, along with all contents of the website watt-watchers.com is available in English and Spanish. We will be hosting a teacher and parent training on Earth Day, April 22. Additionally, we will be launching a virtual Ambassador camp in late April. As with our other education training programs, Watt Watchers is free of charge.
