Get ready to see San Antonio through the lens of Antiques Roadshow!
In April 2019 the Antiques Roadshow crew took over the beautiful grounds of the McNay Art Museum. Thousands of visitors showed up with their family heirlooms, attic finds or rummage sale hopefuls.
In these episodes, we remember the Alamo with an appraisal of a carved folk art cane made locally in 1897 that depicts the famous Spanish Mission among other intricate vignettes of the time.
Also, look for standouts like a W. W. Denslow-inscribed "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz," a Mercury Space Capsule wind tunnel model, and a black opal ring. Can you guess which one is $60,000 to $120,000?
The San Antonio episodes initially air at 7 p.m. April 20 and 27, and May 4. And watch with us at 8 p.m. April 20 for a special behind-the-scenes episode!
