SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS: December 15, 2020
KLRN and the United States Air Force Band of the West are excited to partner once again to bring you Holiday in Blue, the broadcast music event of the holiday season!
In addition to special messages from San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg and top commanders from Joint Base San Antonio, the one-hour program boasts a feature of the NORAD Santa Tracker with legendary astronaut and former commander of the International Space Station, Captain Scott Kelly.
Holiday in Blue showcases several performing ensembles from the Band of the West, as well as guest performances from active-duty Air Force bands around the world. The program will include:
- “O Holy Night” and “Ave Maria,” with the Texas Children’s Choir
- “Sleigh Ride”
- “Heroes of the Season”
- and much more!

USAF Band of the West – Holiday in Blue will broadcast at 8PM on Saturday, Dec. 19, and re-broadcast at 9PM on Monday, Dec. 21 and again at 7PM on Thursday, Dec. 24.
The 8PM Saturday, Dec. 19 performance will also be streamed simultaneously on Facebook and on YouTube.
