Then, District 10 City Councilman Clayton Perry talks about recent council votes, including new tax exemptions for homeowners, and CPS Energy’s Save Tomorrow Energy Plan. He’ll explain why the CPS conservation plan isn’t enough to support CPS Energy’s growing customer base.
We also hear from VIA President and CEO Jeff Arndt about VIA’s new Advanced Rapid Transit Plan, the $320 million dollar project that will ferry riders along a North-South portion of San Pedro. While it’s not yet being constructed, plans call for new lanes and the system will allow the ART drivers to manipulate traffic lights along their routes.
Finally, how are local school districts preparing for security this fall in the wake of Uvalde? SA Express-News education reporter Claire Bryan fills us in on how the major districts are already making plans for increased security.
