We continue meeting our new San Antonio City Council members this week. Host Randy Beamer talks with District 2 Councilman Jalen McKee-Rodriguez about his priorities over the next two years, and whether or not he thinks the council will now tilt to the left.
Plus, State Sen. Roland Gutierrez stops by to discuss an upcoming special session on a voting bill and what concerns him about it. He also shares why he thinks Gov. Greg Abbott needs to focus on issues that affect people instead of cultural issues.
Then, we’re joined by Anita Ledbetter, executive director of Build San Antonio Green. She explains why it's such a big deal that the Environmental Protection Agency listed San Antonio among top cities for Energy Efficient Buildings.
And finally, on Reporter’s Roundtable, SA Current Editor Sanford Nowlin gives his take on 21 vetoes from Gov. Greg Abbott at the end of the main legislative session.
