This week On The Record, host Randy Beamer introduces us to the newly-elected District 7 City Council Representative Marina Alderete Gavito, who outlines her top priorities for her district, which include public safety and dealing with loose dogs.
Andres Andujar, CEO of the Hemisfair Park Redevelopment Corporation, tells us why the 28-story tower at the park has been redesigned as a much lower 10-story tower. He also gives the details on the official opening of Civic Park- the site of this year’s Jazz Alive concert series.
Anthony Head, author of the book, “Spirit: The Life and Art of Jesse Treviño”, talks with Randy about the upcoming documentary on KLRN about Jesse's life and legacy.
And on Reporters Roundtable, SA Current Editor-In-Chief, Sanford Nowlin, discusses two of his recent articles. One on former city councilman Roberto Treviño, who has been named Executive Director of the SA Philharmonic, the other on large corporations, including HEB, who have donated to Governor Abbott.
