Play & Learn for Military Families
Play & Learn for Military Families emphasizes that learning happens everywhere, anytime. KLRN staff works with families to model strategies, offer guidance, and inspire fun ways to extend learning beyond the classroom. Adults and children paint, build, plant, and play together, strengthening bonds while children develop healthy relationships with peers.
For our military families, Play & Learn also provides a sense of stability and belonging a place where parents can share experiences, exchange ideas, and feel supported while their children explore, create, and thrive.Email militaryfam@klrn.org to enroll today.
Dual Generation Program
The Dual Generation Initiative works with community partners to provide families with the tools and resources to achieve success and self-sufficiency.Tuition Assistance for Job Training Programs; Monthly Support and Access to Resources; Must have children ages 0 - 1 0 years old in the household; Must live in one of the following zip codes: 78202, 78203, 78205,78207,78208,78210,78211, 78215, 78218,78219,78220, 78221, 78222, 78225, 78227 and 78237. Must be enrolled or interested in enrolling in an education program or workforce training; Must meet income requirements. If interested, fill out this form to see if you qualify.

Lantern is a FREE parent and caregiver messaging program that sends tips and resources promoting child development, targeted to a child’s age from birth to 5 years old. We share quality information and trusted resources such as PBS KIDS, PBS Parents, Vroom, The Fred Rogers Company and Sesame Workshop.
