Dear Educators,

Welcome to October! As we move further into the school year, KLRN is excited to continue supporting educators with engaging resources, professional learning opportunities, and classroom content designed to spark curiosity and meaningful learning.

This month, explore PBS LearningMedia resources that encourage students to celebrate culture, investigate science, build media literacy skills, and explore civics and their communities. October also provides opportunities to continue celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month through October 15 and discover new resources across grade levels and subject areas

October is also a great time to help students think critically about the information they encounter every day. As we look ahead to Media Literacy Week, October 26–30, PBS LearningMedia offers resources that can help students build media literacy skills and become thoughtful consumers and creators of information.
