It's time to get ready for Back to School!

KLRN presents a fun, free Back to School event for the whole family in collaboration with St. Mary's University and the United Way HOPES initiative.

Join us Saturday, July 29th from 10 AM – 1 PM for activities, drone demonstrations, and a special visit by PBS KIDS character Zeke from Work it out Wombats! Local community organizations will provide FREE resources, activities, and more for families attending the event.  

We'll also be distributing free backpacks, books, and other school supplies for school age children. These items will only be available on a first-come first-served basis while supplies last. Please note that registration to the event does not guarantee that you receive supplies. More information about the backpack and school supply giveaway below.

Backpack & School Supply Giveaway Details:

Registration does not guarantee that you receive a backpack.  Child must be present at registration for you to receive a bracelet. The bracelet allows you to pick up a backpack at Moody Life Sciences Center. Backpacks are only available while supplies last. Backpacks are provided by United Way San Antonio & Bexar County, Walmart and State Representative Ray Lopez.
