Dinosaur Train- “Dinosaur Train” embraces and celebrates the fascination that preschoolers have with both dinosaurs and trains! Kids can join Buddy and his adoptive Pteranodon family on a whimsical voyage through prehistoric jungles, swamps, volcanoes and oceans, as they unearth basic concepts in life science, natural history and paleontology.

Dinosaur George
“Dinosaur George” Blasing is a self-taught paleontologist and animal behaviorist with more than 35 years of study and research experience. This Collection of Lesson Plans for Grades K-6 may be used alone or to complement a visit from Dinosaur George. Lessons cover Science and English/Language Arts/Reading standards, and all of the student activity sheets are available in both English and Spanish.
- Dinosaur George l Dinosaurs l Kinder Students learn the characteristics of the Stegosaurus, Tyrannosaurus Rex, and Apatosaurus.
- Dinosaur George l If the Dinosaurs Came Back l First Grade Students learn that dinosaurs are extinct.
- Dinosaur George l K-W-L Chart l Second Grade Students use their existing knowledge about dinosaurs to help make a class “KWL chart".
- Dinosaur George l Herbivores or Carnivores l Third Grade Students will identify dinosaurs as consumers, as herbivores or carnivores.
- Dinosaur George l Fact or Opinion l Fourth Grade Students will read statements about the Mesozoic Era and identify if they are facts or opinions.
