The City Council today approved a new 10-year, $100 million contract with Go Rio San Antonio to run river barges through downtown.
Go Rio San Antonio is a local business, owned by Hope Andrade, Lisa Wong and Landry’s Restaurants. The firm, which finished first in the RFP process, will begin operating San Antonio River barges and taxis on Oct. 1.
