Email share

The city’s Charter Review Commission is inviting the San Antonio community to the first of three public hearings on May 24 at 6 p.m. in the Central Library Auditorium, 600 Soledad.

The commission is seeking the public’s input on the current Charter Review process and possible amendments before bringing recommendations to City Council for consideration.

The next two public hearings are scheduled on June 7 and June 14 at the Central Library Auditorium.  After the hearings, the commission will present the final recommendations to the full City Council in August for a possible charter amendment election in November. The community can email Charter.Review@sanantonio.gov or call Assistant City Attorney Camila Kunau at (210) 207-5602 to provide input.
