CDC confirms Zika virus causes neurological birth defects

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has confirmed the Zika virus causes microcephaly and other neurological birth defects.

Here in San Antonio, Metro Health officials have confirmed a fourth case of the Zika virus.

The CDC recommends pregnant women avoid travel to Zika-hit regions and remind couples that infected men, with or without symptoms, can pass the Zika virus to sexual partners.
