Lending a helping hand at the animal shelter is a great way to show love for animals and serve the community this spring break!

The Animal defense League of Texas is developing a spring break volunteer program at the Paul Jolly Center for Pet Adoptions, located at 210 Tuleta Dr. The goal is to help neglected, abandoned, abused, and homeless pets find a safe home with loving owners.

Anyone interested is welcome to donate their time beginning on March 11 – March 19 from 11a.m. to 7 p.m. Volunteers must complete a brief orientation prior to March 11.

This opportunity is open to ages 13 and up! An adult must accompany volunteers younger than16 years of age. Volunteers will help in various duties including puppy room aid, cattery aid, front desk support, dog handling, and general support.

More information is available at adltexas.org/spring-break/ or contacting volunteer manager, Christina, at 210-655-1481 extension 122.
