City’s Ambassador Program is offering paid summer internship opportunities

The Department of Human Services for the City of San Antonio, is accepting applications for the 2017 Ambassador Summer Internship Program!

The program’s purpose is to motivate college students to continue their career journey in San Antonio after graduation by providing them with professional opportunities and introducing them to various career paths through paid internships.

To qualify, students must be a San Antonio high school graduate or attend a university in San Antonio, be a permanent San Antonio resident, obtain a 2.5 grade point average or above, complete two semesters of college, and be currently enrolled.

Some of the offered fields include engineering, communications, local government, science, and health. Employer partners such as Univision Inc., American Red Cross, and Texas Biomedical Research Institute are happy to give students hands on experience that will help them become great professionals.
