It’s an annual after-Christmas event for dried out Christmas trees.
Beginning Saturday, you can take your tree to one of 17 drop off locations throughout the city. Trees will be shredded and mulched for spring gardens.
The drop-off locations will be open this weekend and next weekend, and there is no charge for the services.
In addition, the Bitters and Nelson Gardens recycling centers will take trees all through January.
