KLRN online policy

Nothing is more important to us than protecting the private information of our visitors and making our website a safe haven. KLRN adheres to a strict policy for ensuring the privacy of your — and your children's — personally identifiable information (such as full name, address, email, telephone number or other identifiable information).

Gathering and using information

  1. We will not collect personally identifiable information from you, other than what you supply to us on a voluntary basis.

  2. To join some activities, you might be asked to provide some personally identifiable information. This could be in connection with the following:

    - A contest or sweepstakes registration
    - A subscription registration for sites or services that require a subscription (such as email newsletters)
    - Requests for membership information

  3. KLRN will not willfully disclose your personal information to any third party without first receiving your permission.

Tracking and using cookies

KLRN uses cookie technology through our PBS online localization options. By entering your zip code and then your station, a cookie assigns you a unique number (with no meaning whatsoever outside the customization process) that recalls this information each time you visit. As a result, you are able to customize your browsing experiences. At no time will this cookie reveal to others your name, email, street address or telephone number.

Memorials & Tributes

Your contribution to the KLRN Endowment Fund, Inc., either in memory of a loved one or in honor of a special friend or occasion, is a perpetual gift that will help provide for the future of KLRN public television for generations to come. The principle remains untouched, and only a small percentage of earnings on the principle is distributed to the station.
