Coming Back with Wes Moore

Join KLRN for a special screening and panel discussion featuring executive producer and veteran Wes Moore, and his film covering military life and the process of re-entering society. Spurred by the suicide of one of his oldest friends and a fellow officer, Moore’s journey takes him into the personal lives of soldiers as they attempt to reintegrate into society, establish new identities and – for many – a new mission.

Who: KLRN, author and veteran Wes Moore, San Antonio Express-News reporter and panel moderator Sig Christenson, and panelists Richard Delgado Jr., Director of Military Community Relations at Texas A&M University – San Antonio; Bobby Henline, Iraqi War veteran and motivational speaker; and Barbara Lau of the Bob Woodruff Foundation.
What: The film, part of a three-episode series produced by best-selling author and U.S. Army veteran Wes Moore, tells about his search for answers to some of the most difficult questions facing veterans returning home from war.
