San Antonio's Cancer Therapy & Research Center will lose its name but gain additional status now that it will be affiliated with the world-renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
Rick Casey will be joined by Scott Bailey, reporter and project coordinator at the San Antonio Business Journal, and Wendy Rigby, an Emmy-award winning medical journalist from Texas Public Radio, to talk about the partnership and the impact to local cancer patients.
Ross Ramsey, executive editor of the Texas Tribune, joins Casey to discuss a locker room tweet by Agricultural Commissioner Sid Miller, as well as why even if Donald Trump loses, his impact on Texas will remain.
Casey closes out the show with his Last Word, where he'll give a lesson in political anatomy to a young voter.
