With the removal of the Civil War memorial statue in Travis Park and the decision to change the name of Robert E. Lee High School, Carey Latimore, chairman of Trinity University’s history department, joins Rick Casey to talk about this and related issues.

Evan Smith, chief executive officer of the Texas Tribune, joins Casey to discuss Gov. Greg Abbott’s appointment of Texas A&M Chancellor John Sharp to lead the state’s recovery effort from the massive damage done by Hurricane Harvey.

Casey closes out the program with his Last Word, in which he'll reflect on the state of San Antonio’s news landscape as this program ends its run of nearly seven years.
