Email share

The Texas News Service reports a study in March shows 65 Texas community water systems have exceeded EPA standard for arsenic levels.

The areas affected are mostly rural areas and include Kenedy in nearby Karnes County.

Prolonged exposure to arsenic is linked to lung and bladder cancers, neurological problems, and other illnesses.
