Spanish speaking consumers are the targets of telephone scam artists who are posing as debt collectors.
KSAT 12 News reports the scammers say they are calling on behalf of government agencies and demanding money and threatening them with court action.
Attorney General Ken Paxton says if you receive a call like this, call the government agency in question to ensure it is legitimate.
