Many East Side residents are complaining they’re being left out of the city’s sidewalk repair schedule.
But KSAT 12 News reports that city code puts responsibility for sidewalk maintenance on property owners.
Even so, the city has a pilot sidewalk cost-sharing program, where property owners and the city share the cost of installing or replacing sidewalks.
