City officials worried about courthouse at HemisFair

Email share

The Federal courthouse at Hemisfair is being called a disaster waiting to happen.

Mayor Ivy Taylor and a delegation of city leaders flew to Washington DC yesterday to enlist the aid of senior U.S. Sen. John Cornyn.

Employees at the former HemisFair Theater have complained about asbestos, mold and contaminated water.

Security concerns include criminal defendants and judges occupying the same areas.
