| Program Description |
| Following up on the pledge smash "Magic Moments" this all new follow-up special called MOMENTS TO REMEMBER is the latest production in the MY MUSIC fundraising series, designed to attract and renew the 60+ crowd to your member file and pledge phones. Patti Page returns to co-host all new performances and archival classics from the vault with co-hosts Nick Clooney, Peter Marshall, Wink Martindale, and the Lawrence Welk Show's Mary Lou Metzger. This program features many more legends of the late 50s and early 1960s pop era. Frankie Laine comes out of retirement to "spend one more night in our old rendezvous" singing his sentimental "That's My Desire." Italian crooner Julius LaRosa takes stage to perform his classic "Eh Compari" and "Domani." The Four Lads, Four Aces, Four Freshmen, Roger Williams, Lenny Welch, The Platters, The DeCastro Sisters (and more), also return to the stage to sing their greatest hits. Archival performances from Rosemary Clooney, Perry Como and Nat King Cole round out this amazing sequel in the 50s pop story, and it's made for pledge! An all new CD box (Magic Moments big premium for members) has been created which features even more of the biggest hits by the original artists. Four cd's (one PBS exclusive) of all original hits from the original stars, and the biggest names from Johnny Mathis to Dean Martin are included on this new cd set. These are all new songs, and all new premiums that weren't included on the first Magic Moments 50s pop special. |
