Calling all young artists! Children from kindergarten to third grade are encouraged to write and illustrate their own stories and enter them in the Eleventh Annual Reading Rainbow Young Writers & Illustrators Contest. Stories will be judged locally and the winners will advance to the national competition. Each grade level is judged separately.

How to Enter: Download an entry form (English/Español) and contest rules (English/Español) here. Forms and rules can also be picked up at participating Burger King locations.

All entries must arrive at KLRN by March 31.

The Prizes: Every child who enters will receive a special Certificate of Achievement signed by Reading Rainbow's host LeVar Burton and will be invited to attend a contest celebration on April 16 at KLRN.
