BizKid$ is the fun, fast-paced PBS series where kids teach kids about money and business. And, with brand new lesson plans and resources specifically designed for 4th -8th grade teachers, it’s easier than ever to bring the power of BizKid$ into
your classroom. KLRN has designed a two-part online series (you can watch these anytime) to learn more about the program and the new classroom resources. Simply watch the online presentations, take a quiz, and submit it to KLRN. In return, you’ll receive a set of BizKid$ classroom resources and an hour of CPE credit.
The 21st Annual National Dropout Prevention Network Conference is scheduled for Oct. 25-28 at the Crowne Plaza Riverwalk Hotel. Designed to enhance the leadership skills of all adults who are seeking to strengthen interventions among school, community, and families, the Conference program will include school and cultural knowledge, curriculum and instruction, students with exceptionalities, English language learners, community connections, school-home collaborations, school-work partnerships, assessment, effective school leadership, faith-based initiatives, and service-learning.
