PBS KIDS GO! Writers Contest
Thank you to everyone who participated in our 2011 Writers Contest! On Sat., June 4 at Rosedale Park, KLRN celebrated all of our young writers and announced the first, second, and third place stories in each grade level. Click here to see the winning stories. Café College: Your Future is Brewing
KLRN’s Café College: Your Future is Brewing connects parents and students with college admissions and financial aid counselors during a live, televised event each spring. During the broadcast, parents, students, teachers, and school counselors are encouraged to use the call-in number to learn answers to their college-related questions. The event also includes interviews with leaders from local colleges and universities, current college students, and professionals. Special thanks go to our project partner, the San Antonio Education Partnership, for their help in making this event a success.
