Biography




Mary Griffin

Mary Griffin was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin where she earned her bachelors degree in Art Education. After teaching
art and photography for many years to children as well as adults, she went back to school herself and earned her MA in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialty in Educational Technology from New Mexico State University. Griffin then pursued her Ed.S.
Degree and spent a year working for the Department of Education in Santa Fe, NM on a statewide technologyprogram.
She returned to NMSU and taught undergraduate and graduated students how to effectively use technology tools in the
classrooms until her move to Texas in 2002 with her husband Gary.

Griffin lives in Spring Branch, TX and is currently employed by Comal ISD as an Instructional Facilitator for Technology.
This is her fifth year on the Educational Advisory Committee at KLRN Connect. Her hobbies are photography, gardening,
swimming and RVing with her husband and granddaughter.
