Director of School Services
KLRN, the public television station serving San Antonio and South Central Texas, is seeking an individual to work with schools and organizations in our viewing area to market KLRN’s educational resources, facilitate face-to-face and online professional development activities, and manage special projects (including on-air productions). Position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, classroom teaching experience, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. Ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience with emerging digital technologies and social media. Volunteer Coordinator
KLRN TV, the public television station serving San Antonio and South Central Texas, is looking for an energetic, dynamic, people-oriented individual to coordinate its extensive volunteer program.  If you are highly motivated, possess outstanding written and organizational skills and get along well with a wide range of personality types, then you might be just the person KLRN is seeking. As Volunteer Coordinator, you will be responsible for recruiting and training volunteers for membership drives, special events and other KLRN activities.  The position also assists with the implementation and execution of events, including the procurement of sponsorships and donations.  In addition, you will maintain relationships with business, civic, educational and other potential sources of volunteers in an effort to continually build the volunteer corps, along with other duties as assigned.  This position requires a high school diploma plus two years of college; excellent business writing skills; computer proficiency; and a minimum of two years related professional experience.  Extreme flexibility in work schedule is a must during fundraisers and special events.  No phone calls please.

The Untold Stories project brings to light stories focusing on the role of African Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanic Americans and Native Americans in the creation and protection of individual parks. Five original short films were created, and one of those films is about the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park. Click here to watch the film.
